W WSS Rock Stacker Feb 18, 2023 #3 FM will have better rx but to be useful, both rx and tx units would need to be FM, meaning you would have to upgrade to take advantage of your friends FM unit. I am firmly settled in the UHF band. Way too much $$ invested to go back to HF.
