Hey Folks, I recently picked up a 1980s Coleman Country Squire Slide in Camper. This is the larger version made for full-size trucks but I believe it will also work with "modern" mid-size trucks. From what I found online, the camper works with 6-8ft beds. I'm still not 100% sure I want to sell the camper (there are not too many similar campers at this price point still out there) but I have another project that sits higher on the priority list and this camper deserves a good home.

The camper has two fold out 88"x44" beds, two benches, and a portable table that fits in between for dining. It has a coleman 2-burner propane stove connected to a 20lb tank. The kitchen has a sink with pump faucet and a 5gal water tank. The sink has a drain hose which drains to a bucket outside (if used). There is a small storage locker on one side and storage under each bench. The whole unit is setup very nicely! The previous own resealed the roof, roof vent, and seams. He then painted the top and replaced the "headliner". He said it was a quilted headliner which gave up the ghost. All the zippers work great, no holes in the screens, and the coated "canvas" is in great condition with no rips or holes or dry cracking. The cranking is smooth. I used the camper for 5 nights this past fall and had rain on two of the days; I did not find, see, or notice any leaks or water ingress.

The camper is 96% ready to go. A few small sections of the velcro (on the metal portions) are worn out where the canvas connects but it would be an easy fix. The velcro portions on the canvas are still good (so no sewing is needed). The propane tank (horizontal) is an older unit and will need replaced unless you find "a guy" who will fill it up for you. :) There is a small crack in one of the plastic window pieces and the back door key was lost sometime around 1995 (allegedly ). The camper does not have any sort of jacks or stands.

The camper weighs 885lbs according to the Coleman brochure and if you bought it new in 1980 you got a canoe for $0.01.

The camper is located in Reading PA (19606).

Slightly flexible on the price.

(I'll have additional pictures as soon as it gets nice enough to wheel out of storage)

I’m also up for considering a trade for a hard shell rooftop tent. Let me know what you have!
