Bought this heavy duty W56-B 5-speed transmission a couple years ago for my 1988 Toyota 4X4 but never ended up installing it. Brand new rebuild from Marlin Crawler.
Since I got it, it has sat in the plastic tote that they shipped it in. Also bought a clutch kit which includes an Aisin pressure plate and Seco clutch disc.
Sold the truck so I have no need for the transmission.
Cost new from Marlin (also what I paid):
$1299.00 for the transmission
$219.00 for the clutch kit
Asking $1,500 bucks - I will even deliver free within 250 miles (I'm in Fort Worth, Texas)
I'm open to offers but if keep in mind that if you buy this transmission yourself, you will pay a $250.00 core charge AND it will take 9 weeks to get your transmission. You will also pay at least $70.00 to have the new transmission shipped to you. If you want them to include a shipping label to ship your core back to Marlin Crawler, you will pay another $70.00 OR you can just pay the shipper yourself. So, I am saving you at least $390.00 and 9 weeks of your time.
