Fridge problems

I haver an Indel B fridge in the back of the 4Runner that I have been having issues with. It works fine when it's cool out but if it starts to warm up a little it kicks off and gives a E1 error, which I read is a voltage error. I ran a cig lights back for the fridge from the aut battery. How do you guys have your fridges wired?

Could be several causes:

1-The wire you used is too small. 10 ga minimum, I used 8.
2-Poor connection to the socket. I converted mine to a powerlet locking socket.

I don't rememebr what ga I used but I'll swap it to 8 ga if it's not already.

I have an aux dual cig-lighter socket in the rear area of mine wired with #10 awg straight from the battery that I plug the fridge into. No problems.

ARB sells a power outlet kit and it uses #10
