Time has come to part ways with my beloved truck. Tons of memories and it will be missed. I bought this truck new in 2017 and proceeded to build it to be a purpose built expedition rig. The reason why I am selling it is because I bought a big full size truck (crew cab long bed F250) and am building that up and need the money to support that build and have a couple dollars left over to travel with.
The truck has been amazing and I have spent over 100 nights in it. This past fall I lived out of it off the grid for 21 consecutive nights. Mechanically she is close to perfect. I just took it to my mechanic and all he could find was a little play in one of the lower ball joints. I proceeded to have him replace it. The tires are getting up there in age and are starting to chunk and make some noise. Brakes are around 50%. Oil was changed every 5k with Mobil 1, and a factory filter. As for the frame and panels they are in great condition as I undercoated the rig religiously.
What I would consider the worst part of the truck is that some of the metal aftermarket parts are starting to rust like bumpers, slider, and camper frame. Nothing that cant be fixed with a little elbow grease and paint, or if I was going to keep it I would pull said parts off and send them off to the powder coat shop. Just something to budget for if you need your rig to be prim and proper. The only panel that is a little beat up is the tailgate and you don't see that behind the bumper swing out. The BP 51s have been on for around 70k miles and still ride nice but will probably need a rebuild at some point. Overall very happy with that suspension wish they made it for my new truck.
I will try and get some pictures up soon, I also have a long walk around if i can get a minute to host it some where. If you want some pics now I have my glamor shots over on my Instagram, @overlandonthefly
Thanks and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
