For sale is an Onan 5.5 KW Quiet Diesel generator and custom built, aluminum diamond plate, enclosure. This is a very quiet generator and meets National Park standards for in park use. It is powered by a two cylinder, water cooled, Kubota diesel engine. This is set up to be installed in the back of your diesel pick-up. Included in this sale are custom battery cables that run from the engine batteries to the generator. (Originally set up for an F350 crew cab) Also included in this sale is a Transfer Flow fuel filler neck that allows the generator to draw diesel from the truck tank. The dip tube is cut to a length so that it will leave you with at least 11 gallons in the truck tank for an F350. Other things included are an optional remote start kit utilizing a key fob. This was never installed but shouldn't take much work. The oil, oil filter and fuel filter were changed this past fall and have zero hours on them.
This sale is for major components as described above and seen in the pictures. You will have to provide miscellaneous parts, accessories and know how. For the mechanically inclined this is a very "doable" project with the possible the exception of installing the fuel filler neck. If you are not mechanically inclined you will need to have a professional install it for you.
