i have the full size version of this and love it! this looks like the ranger size version. I had to raise mine up about 4 inches to get it over the bed rails of my 09 gmc 1/2 ton. They seem pretty well built. Aluminum side frames, and lots of 1x lumber. stapled and glued inside skin of 3/16 ply. the front hinge can be a point of failure if the wood it is screwed into is rotted.

Did you need any suspension mods to make that work? How was wiring and fastening it to the truck? I have an 07 1500 Silverado single cab, 8' bed. Thanks!

I have ride rite air bags. They help, but I don't think it's necessary. I ripped up some 2x6 and built a sled for it to sit on. I wired up the lights and things to the 7 blade trailer plug. The extra room underneath fits a table, and my maxtrax.
