4 golf balls in each tire today...all my vibes are gone.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee :wings:

Golf balls are a short term gain. My buddy just took his out of the same tires you are using and they were anything but round after 1000 miles of mostly trail running. Buckshot is probably better but a lot of the BC wheelers are just using plain old antifreeze. 8 oz or so per tire.

Let me know if you get sick of those tires. I'd love to have a set.

Yeah, why not some brass BBs? ...though I still don't quite understand why these methods work; quite counter-intuitive.

I still had some thick grease like "bead sealant" inside of the tires when they were mounted.

I imagine if I used small media like bb size, they would just stick to the goop inside the tire.

Another mod I wasn't sure would work but did.......was a 60 series ARB bull bar on my 80.

I just read this whole thread and all I can say is.....

:Wow1: WOW!

Very interesting and cool build. I would have done things differently, but I use my rig for an entirely different purpose. I'll bet that's one heck of a head turner out on the town. :safari-rig:

Just checked it out in person yesterday in the parking lot of Sears. It looks wild and the tires actually look more proportional than I expected.

A fun project Cody.

My next mod since I installed the FJ60 ARB bullbar was to add some limb risers. Now I have something else for people next to me at stoplights to be confused about. :)

Like the tires but I am with SoCalFJ (Post #10)

I still think rubbing and other issues are unavoidable if you truly want to use the suspension/vehicle to its fullest.
