Gen-1 Tundra Owners-Where do you shop?

It isn't that hard to rebuild them yourself, last time I did my Camburgs...I think it cost me $100 for parts/oil.

Baja Taco has a step by step how-to on his website.

Yeah, I know.....the problem being is the Don's have some funky pressure port for the nitrogen charge and then there is the issue of actually getting them recharged. Motorcycle shop? Never been into the bike scene, so you know, I'd have to do like an internet search to find one......

I know where you can get them filled... just a few miles down the road from your house. How's that for the internet responding to your like, search?

....except, when I bought them and took them there for a rebuild, they were just going to ship them to the west because of that funky port....

hmm... we have a Nitrogen fill kit. We've been filling those and other manufacturers shocks. Even some HSLG types from Dahlgren come here with their "specialty" rigs. I guess your shocks must be extra-special. Sorry Jim.

It's been a few years though, maybe they bought the correct refill kit after I was there.....and before you started "working" there

Any other info to add to the OP's question?
There really isn't much out there, is there?
Coming from owning a Wrangler.....to a Tacoma.....and now a Tundra, it seems I have given up nearly all of my aftermarket support.....

Its too bad www.BudBuilt.com doesnt do 1st Gen Tundies...Everything BUT!!...He makes great stuff!

And as someone posted before, Slee Offroad does have an OME suspension kit for the 1st Gens...

Or you can go OME 884, 885, or 886 coils with 5100's...www.WheelersOffroad.com carries the OME stuff, the 5100s, Total Chaos and Camburg stuff...I think they carry a couple brands of coil-overs, also..They also have leaf kits, AALs, and just about everything else you would need for suspension/lift. Good people to deal with.

Icon Coilovers and Camburg upper control. Purchased at a local off road shop for less than I could find online. I opted for mid-travel not long travel and the ride both on and off road is awesome.

There are a few bumpers out there but custom built is the way to go. Luckily I have a buddy that is more skilled and more nit picky then me. So far we have fabricated sliders, internal cage in my shell, roof rack over the shell to support roof top tent, and just about finished with a custom roof rack over the cab. Then onto custom front bumper and rear bumper with swingout.

There are lockers available for the Tundra as well.

love to see your build page or some pictures of the fab work.

I would look at camburg for suspension upgrade plus their upper control arm is very nice. I have it and love it
