Gen 2.5 Transfer Case Lever - Install

Couple quick questions...

Does this spring need to be set to the right, or to the left, before putting the lever back in? If it has to be set to the right, how do you hold it in place while you put the lever back in? My spring keeps jumping back to the left and it's very strong, so it's tough to hold to the right for very long.







Also, how do you align these forks with the lever out?

The forks move forward and backwards pretty easily. Just move them with your fingers or use a large flat screwdriver. I posted some photos in a thread a awhile ago

Thanks for the help, guys. Couldn't move the forks by hand, but the handle of a large ratchet worked great. Easy enough.
