Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

9 inches of rain turned my food plot into a fishing hole. Pictured is my food plot last weekend before and after the rain.

My 16 ft. Tree stand is looking pretty short.

My truck slid down a 100 ft muddy hill covered with leaves. I’m surprised it climbed out with both differentials locked.

I was wondering about you on Saturday when I was thinking about my electrical system for my camper. Welcome Back!

I must have missed the previous post because I do not remember the flooding. Is the flooding there common?

Luckily 90% of my river property is above the flood plain. Every 3-4 years my food plot/camping area along the river gets flooded, and I have a few days of cleanup.

That isn't bad. Kind of like living next to a lake.

IMG_0947.JPGIMG_0949.JPGIMG_0891.JPGSubject: Chinese Diesel Heater

First of all having a diesel heater in the camper is a game changer. Since my truck is too tall for the garage, sadly it stays outside for the winter. Being able to heat it up with the remote control from inside my house or while inside the camper on the top bed is awesome. The little 5L diesel tank lasts for weeks of truck warmups, or 2-3 days of camping (not used continuously).

First problem in a year. Looks like the diesel tank cap is crap and leaks when truck is bouncing the diesel around. I called the manufacturer and they're reimbursing me for a new cap. Let's see if this works, as I'm getting tired of smelling diesel in my truck.

I didn't realize you left it in there all the time. I don't recall you cutting a hole for the exhaust.

Was the company you called in US (ie the distributor?) or actually in China? It will be interesting to see how long it takes to receive.

I had same problem, it leaked out top.
I posted in the Tune group, and got 2 fixes.
1. The pressure valve or hole on top leaks, so replace that with a screw in 1ft tall plastic hose with air valve on top. It is an off the shelf part made for motorcycles, i will look for a link. Its a motorcycle hmm gasper? Maybe...

2. The hard plastic doesn't seal at top, and neither do threads, so it splashes and leaks out. Get a rubber gasket that goes in lid that the tank throat will press against, it will then seal top from that leak avenue.

FOUND IT! Here you go, read:
Odd, it removes FB links...

Thanks! Now I have a couple fixes if the new cap leaks.

I bought the heater through Amazon, and contacted the seller though their ap.

Yep, somewhere in this long thread is the detail where I routed the exhaust through the 120v bed plug location. I just popped out the plastic cap on the side of the truck bed and replaced it with a 4" metal electrical cover with a hole in the center. The exhaust is routed out the truck behind the rear wheel. Easy and I didn't drill any holes in my bed. I can also put the plastic cover back as original. I like the location, because I can fill the tank from the tailgate.
