Gobi Stealth and Baroud Evasion Evo

This is the combo I'm looking to do, but cannot confirm the RTT a will mount up to the rack? Here's a pic of the 4 dr. Jk Gobi stealth from above. There are two gobi crossbars shown, and I could add the sunroof insert for additional support area, but has anyone accomplished this? Any suggestions? The lead time is usually pretty long for either of these, so I'd like to order ASAP....

This guy is an active member here maybe give him a shout here is a link to his thread:

Oh and when you order it by accident you order 2 I can help you with that excess part problem. :D

Thanks...again, Haficon!
Checking those links out, it looks like they are both using the ARB type fold out tents. I know those type of tents fit fine, but I'm looking for the medium sized hard shell, strut assisted opening Baroud/Airtop tents...specifically, the Baroud evasion Evolution.
And yeah...there can be no more "accidental" ordering. Or my wife will most likely "accidentally" fall on my head with my "accidentally" purchased new Estwing camp axe... :)

Give a call to OK4WD. They are a Baroud dealer and carry the full line in addition to having expertise in overland builds.

I have the Gobi stealth and the Cascadia Tents Hardshell Mt St. Helens

The sunroof panel will only add weight to the roof...

I do suggest you get the add-on crossbars from Gobi to make the installation and removal of the tent much easier! You can then permanently attach the tent to the new crossbars and install tent to roof rack by attaching bars to rack instead of finding someone with small arms to tighten the saddle bolts up each time.

Thank you! THIS seems like the perfect fix. Will check with ok4wd too, but I think this is what I needed, just didn't know Gobi made the additional crossbars. You're using these crossbars?

Not yet that is on the winter list I have been having to disconnect front of rack and prop it up about 5-6" to get my gorilla arms inside to tighten or loosen the saddle bolts and let's just say those days are over :) A guy in my Local colorado overland group turned me on to using these bars and while the cost is a bit high it is not prohibitive.

I have a James Baroud Evasion on a Gobi rack on my 2012 JKU. I used three Thule cross bars to get the tent mounted quickly so I could start using it right away, and was planning on replacing those with a custom mounting system that including cross bars above the tent so I could put a canoe above the tent. I have since decided that the overall height would prohibitive with this arrangement. The links to the alternate cross bars in intriguing - I am going to follow up further on that.
