What are you covering it with steel or aluuminum? I've been wondering for a while now why not reframe my camper with steel instead of aluminum, I don't think it would be any heavier than the cheap wood they used originally.
What thickness for the covering and frame, I'm thinking somehting like .125 for the frame would be sufficient but I thought of using C channel instead of tubing so I could slide the insulation panels into it.

hi this camper is alum.

is arond 26ga is very perfect .. the cost is 50$ 4'x8' (in canada...)

Man this thing looks sweet!! Big enough to not feel cramped, yet small enough to tuck int he slipstream of even the smallest of tow vehicles

Awesome! This is giving me lots of idea for my build.

If you have a minute to show/elaborate how you plan to do the weather seals around the door I'd love to know what you use!
