"Free" alu-cab Gen 2 roof top tent for the right new owner looking for a fixer project before the summer camping season.
I have had the tent since 2015 and it has had tons of adventures for hundreds of nights all up and down the west coast and SW. I'm going to change my setup to a topper camper for a bit more indoor comforts and would like to pass this tent along.

This tent was one of the first 5 sent to the U.S. unfortunately, probably due to their scale up there were some QC issues that led to the tent haven't issues with leaking. The "solution" offered unfortunately was sikaflex... I've added the sikaflex yearly but still occasionally have had leaks. I have had some nerve damage in a hand and unfortunately the last time I had the tent caulked by a buddy he did a pretty crappy job. This led to it lasting < year, and bad leaking this winter

We've had a bad winter and crappy spring in the Puget sound area this year and I didnt take enough time to open and air it out, and seal leaks.

A couple weeks ago (mid April) The last time I opened it up it was really wet inside. There is a moldy mildew smell as well. I have been airing it out every non rainy day and treating for mold and mildew but it needs to be deep treated / dried out and then re-sealed on the outside.
If I was going to keep it I was going to get it Line-X'd.

The original mattress (which was thin and rock hard anyway) was ruined by one of the leak events. In replaced it with a Lucid 5" full xl memory foam mattress which has been great. I think this is still usable. Also a good condensation mat included.

It's missing the poles that hold up the overhang on the rear of the tent. I never used it since I entered from the side, but l lost the poles somehow.

Hi lift, shovel, recovery boards, track bars on top of the the tent not included.

The shadow awn 270 degree awning is not included, although I might entertain offers.
Shower cube is great, I would like to keep it but would consider selling

If you want the tent keep in mind that the awning and shower cube required drilling into the tent so these holes would have to be filled / covered

I am willing to deliver within an hour or so of Seattle with compensation for gas and a bit of my time. Honestly, I don't have a great setup for removal of the tent at my place so easier if you have a good place to remove and a couple of guys (it's about 180lbs I think). If not delivered to you, I know a good public place (open flat parking lot) we could meet up on a weekend to take it off my truck... You would be responsible taking it from there.

Taking the tent off is an easy 2 man job if you have a couple of 8 foot ish 2x4s to help slide it down from the top of my canopy or a couple step ladders and 3 guys to carefully slide it down. We can discuss.

Unfortunately, at this time I'm not physically able to help too much taking it off, and definitely not really able to help install on your rig

DM me and let's chat.

hopefully caught up on PMs, sorry been offline for a bit.

I will add that I would like to sell the shadow awn and shower cube as well. Either work out a package deal for some actual $ or willing to separate.

Limited to mobile access at the moment, I will update with some additional pics hopefully tomorrow of awning and shower cube and details. (issues with adding photos from my phone).

I ended up re-sealing the (hopefully all) the problem areas (sikaflex) on the tent a couple of days ago (rare sunny stretch), current rainy couple of days will test if it stays dry or if it needs some additional sealing
