Gosh- it's been months since I've pulled the cover off the Samurai!
Today I had a bit of time, and no other vehicles blocking it in the garage.
No excuses. A long week, and a little drive in the woods will do me right.
Nothing special, just a quick adventure...
I had forgoten what a joy it is to drive around in such basic transportation.
There's certainly an elegance to simplicity, and the Samurai is definitely simple.
The weather was perfect, and I couldn't help but take the top off...
Cruising through the forest, I longed to be on another remote, month-long trip.
It's been a whie since I've taken more than even a day to get out into nature.
All buttoned up, and on the way back home- it was a short but sweet afternoon...
Just a little cruise through the woods, but it was just what the doctor ordered.
Now my mini overland rig is back under the car cover, deep in the garage.
Holding out for that next adventure, whenever there's opportunity.
