Gpsmap 62s ($249) or Montana 600 ($469) need to decide today

These units are on sale locally and I'm heading to a ranch I hunt for the weekend.

I love the bigger screen on the Montana but I equally love the $220 savings on the GPSmap 62s. That will buy a lot of software

I also like the fact that the Montana can double as a nav unit in cities

Talk to me! Going to be at the store in less than 2 hours

I have a GPSMap 62ST. Its worked great for me so far. I considered the Montana as well, bu decided it was too much for something thats probably going to get banged up.

Thank you! I went to Bass Pro and they sold out so I stopped in Cabelas in TX while I was down there on business and picked up a 62s bundle that came with 24k topo for Utah and CO, Birdseye View, a case and caribiner clip for $299 so it worked out well. I also picked up a Garmin Nuvi 40lm for $79 so I got everything I need for way less that the Montana. The nuvi was cheaper than the software for the Montana. It was a no brainer
