Up for sale is my 1998 converted school bus. It’s an incredible vehicle and we spared no expense in rehabbing it. I am constantly asked if it’s for sale at gas stations, so here’s your chance! My wife and I were building it out with the intention of living in it for two years. Our plan was to drive from South Africa to Kuala Lampur and have a crazy overlanding adventure, starting in December 2020. Well COVID happened instead so that trip didn’t. We instead had our first child and the second is coming up in July. We just don’t have the time to continue the project anymore so it’s time to part ways. It is located in San Francisco, CA
The vehicle has been completely restored and is in fantastic shape. I stripped the whole interior down to the bare metal and rebuilt it. The electrical and plumbing are not complete, but the hard part is done. It just needs some new energy from the new owner to get it over the finish line. I have already purchased pretty much all of the components so there’s nothing else you need to purchase. It’s in perfect mechanical shape and I have all the receipts regarding maintenance during my entire ownership period. It’s in perfect shape and needs nothing.
