Guaging Interest

1998 Jeep TJ...completely gone through and modified for strength while achieving reliability and good pavement manners. This Jeep has it all and was done right. It still has the rear seat, will pull a Horizon trailer through Anza Borrego or take you on a trip over Sledgehammer out in Johnson Valley.

Suspension:
TXT Alumiflex 6" long arm/trilink with TXT Alumiflex crossover steering augmented with 1" Currie motor mount and body lift, Currie control arm bracket skids, Currie front axle Johnnyjoint conversion, custom valved Edelbrock remote resevoir shocks, Currie antirock, rear swaybar, extended brakelines, Currie rear bumpstop kit and outboarded rear shocks.

Front Axle:
Dana HP30 from 96 XJ, ARB with 4:56 Spicer gearset, Warn hub conversion, Warn chromo axles with CTM u-joints, Vanco Raptor big brake kit, T&J heavy duty diff cover/slider.

Rear Axle:
Stock Dana 44 with Alloy USA chromo shaft conversion, ARB, 4:56 Spicer gearset, ZJ rear disk conversion, extended parking brake lines

Engine:
2001 block with Hesco aluminum head conversion (9.5:1 CR), Hesco H264 cam, Harlan Sharp roller rocker kit, late model intake swap, wrapped AEM Brute Force CAI with TB spacer, Doug Thorley ceramic coated header, 2.25" exhaust with Spintech Sportsman muffler, Novack aluminum radiator and oil cooler. There is currently 9000 miles on this motor.

T-case and driveline:
Stock 231 with Teralow 4:1 conversion, AA 32 spline output shaft SYE, JE Reel "Rockcrawler" 1 ton rear driveshaft, JE Reel front driveshaft, Spicer u-bolt sytle yoke conversions. Stock 3 speed auto with 2 coolers and deep pan.

Steering:
Tommy Lee 808 box, Tommy Lee pump and resevoir, Hayden stacked plate PS cooler,Currie steering box skid, crossbraced steeringbox to frame, crossbraced and reinforced upper trackbar mount.

Tires and wheels:
Goodyear MTR 35x12.50x15 (5) mounted on Forged MT Classic 1 wheels converted to beadlocks by Champion Wheel

Armor:
Hanson Sierra Shorty front rockcrawler bumper with Warn 9.5XP winch contaning 105' of Masterpul 3/8ths line and tough stuff safety thimble conversion. Currie Rockribs rocker protection reinforced with interior aluminum backing plate, gas tank skid, Warrior rear corners, Currie rear bumper with reinforced crossmember and towing capability and a full belly coverage fabricated aluminum engine skid.

Misc:
Hydroboost brake conversion, ARB compressor and 5lb CO2 tank, Kodiack Industries dual battery conversion using Odyssey PC1200 batteries, Mechman 220 amp alternator, Genrite hood vents, OR Fab interior cage with floor mount kit, dashbar and Rockhard rear bar, Mopar sailcloth top with tinted windows, Pioneer amplified stereo with Sony Explod speakers in the dash and the soundbar, BassTube amplified subwoofer, Radioshack CB, aluminized insulation under factory carpet, reinforced rear tailgate, Prodigy brake controller, complete trailer wiring package including battery power to rear 7 pin plug. On-board shower heat exchanger (pump assembly NIC) and some miscellanious stuff like bikini tops, soft doors, extra axles front and rear and some other spares I cannot think of at the moment. The detail work on this Jeep shows in the materials... for example, the tranny cooler lines and oilcooler lines are steel braided Aeroquip hose with anodized a/n fittings, the exhaust is madrel bent tube and the wiring to support the dual battery kit and alternator is 2 ot or better. All electrical accessories are either tied into relays or solenoids. The steering on this Jeep is amazing...you can turn the wheel with 1 finger with both ARB's engaged on the sickest slickrock there is at Moab...no need for a 2 lo conversion with this Jeep. The brakes are even better than the steering. The Jeep is also set up for flat towing and I'll include the matching towbar.

There is some minor rockrash on it but it has been dead nuts reliable for me and shows well. There are about 102000 miles on it but everything is either rebuilt or close to new so the milage is somewhat irrelevent to the condition of the vehicle.

I am looking to possibly sell it to help me get into an AEV WK Diesel:

Ping me with interest or for better pictures or more info. $25000 OBO. Thanx.

TTT for a sweet rig! :26_34_3:

I can't believe you are even considering parting with the Jeep. To anyone considering this I can vouch for how well it is put together and performs. Robert is a pretty over the top guy (read full-blown obsessive compulsive in the nicest way possible:)) when it comes to putting together a vehicle and maintaining it.

Thanx Andrew...a few more pix.

Bump for a dream TJ.

I've seen this rig in person and it's one of the most emaculate TJ's i've ever seen.
