Hankook Dynapro Mud Terrain for Fuso Fg

VanIsle_Greg

I think I need a bigger truck!
I am a big fan of the Hankook tires. So much so that all 3 of our vehicles are running them now. I have the RT03 MT or Maximum Traction Tires on my Jeep XJ and am VERY happy with them. They grip everything, shed mud like mad and are wearing very well and the build quality is superb. They balanced easily with minimal weight. The comparison of a 31" on a Jeep XJ to a 37" on a Fuso is well, no real comparison... but personal experience with the tires and the quality overall is very positive.

Just had a set installed on my Jeep WK, the AT's in a 32". Very nice...far better than the Michelin LTX I had on there, and I liked those tires.

Same problem with all setups though, right? ATW has the same issue, either you're going to be a few inches off, or you're going to have to carry two different spares.

ATW rims run the same wheels front and back and they track the same. Can't see how that would work with a re entered Humvee wheel though.

No.
There are plenty of the Fuso rims that will track in the same track. The recentered Hummer rims can only go about 3.5 inches, you need ABOUT 8-9 inches or so for the tracks to line up.
IMO getting rated/tested rims from a major player like ATW, EC, Alan, is the way to go. Way too may horror stories (even just here on the ExpoPortal) of wheel failures.
