Help me find a G-Wagon

I'm looking to pick up my first G-Wagon. Has to be a 4-door, manual transmission, with all 3 lockers. Diesel preferred. I will fly to any where in N. America to pick up the right rig, but would be a huge bonus if it was near Portland, OR or N. Virginia. Hoping to spend $10-15k :beer:

Hi Matt,

If you're stuck on 3 lockers then you'll be looking for a W463 ('91+), which would be full-time 4wd. Finding a diesel will be near to impossible I'm afraid. There are maybe 10(?) or so in the USA(G300DT, G350DT), none for sale very often at all. And a manual tranny will be pretty much non-existent unless they've swapped the auto for the manual.

If you were ok with f/r lockers(manually operated vs electronically switched), you'd be looking at the W460 (-'90), which would be part-time 4wd. Here you could find one which has had the 617A swap performed, there are many 5spd manuals (G gearboxes or 209D? Van gearboxes).
