Joe has my number so I'm a-waiting for the call! We live on the northside of San Antonio so it'll be easy to run at a moments notice.

He's right on schedule, Houston!

Just checked the SPOT and Joe was on the east side of Lake Charles a few minutes ago. He should be through most of the construction on I-10 there, so hopefully we'll all be eating some fine Mexican food in just a couple hours.

See y'all @ Cadillac!

30 mins outside Houston
Hey, Joe. Do us a favor, please. When you arrive at a destination, hit the SPOT to check in. Because your last position report was shy of the rendesvouz, your many fans around the world are wondering whether you are enjoying a plate of enchiladas or changing a tire by the side of the road.

I don't even know you that well to have these conversations... Lunch was great... After a GPS snafu... Gary provided me the best Mexican food in Tx..

Great company, that is for sure! It is awesome to see what is happening for Lance and his vision as a result of this incredible Expedition Portal. This publicity will help launch Disabled Explorers, not just to the next level, but the next order of magnitude! What a blessing have the opportunity to be a part of it.

Joe, I was glad you appeared very well rested. Pushing across country like you are, continue to get your rest!

Be blessed and have a great trip back west. It was a pleasure getting to spend an hour with you today.

One of the coolest summer places in West Texas

Joe, You're about go go by one of the coolest places in West Texas in the summer!

Literally, Balmorhea State Park is home to San Soloman Springs, which at about 72-76*F all year long, is one of my favorite stops in West Texas. The spring flows about a million gallons an hour and has provided fresh water for the giant swimming pool at the state park since the CCC built it in the 1930s time frame (IIRC). It irrigates tons of cienega (desert wetland) and farmland in the Toyahvale area.

It's just a few mile detour (about four miles south of I-10 exit 206).

Great place to spend a few minutes of a break from driving, if you're interested.

Joe is in New Mexico and needs to be home tonight per his original plan....so I left him a voice mail to confirm but let's plan on:
Tonight 6/10 Tues (he is only 4 hrs from Phx as I write)
The meet & greet with the Long Lost Adventure Trailer will be at Eldorado Park @ 6:30 till ??? (but remember Joe needs to get home tonight)....near the pond & skate area north of Mcdowell, east of Miller....take the first righthand entrance into the park, there will be a sign & balloons...then look for an couple of shade awnings and such....
these are the rough gps numbers I will post back with exact numbers shortly....
33.468609,-111.916523
I will have hotdogs to grill and cold beverages...bring something if you want....come on out and meet Joe & the Trailer...
If you need more last minute info call me 602-451-6079 or email lance at disbledexplorers com and it goes to my phone

Please post here, email, call, text something to let us know if you are coming so we have a head count and Joe knows when he can get his tired butt home :)
