i did a search for safaripacific and ranger and with just safaripacific for the users. May be I did something wrong but I dont find it.

I wonder if they can make o ne for Jeep newer 4 or 2 door. or the 2 door unlimated. I am considering one of those if th eright deal co mes along.

called them and they wont be making one for the AV due to the tapered sides. Seems to be th ecommon anaswer.. cuskc..

But they did say to call back aftter Dec 15ht about the Jeep one. Will only be for th e4 droo Jeep 2 door is to short.

Thats kind of silly. I bet you could pick up one of the used ones that get posted on the forums here and cut into the sides, its just fiberglass. There are a couple other threads where people here have modified them.

For those interested in building a popup type of camper assembly for any truck, I suggest contacting a sailboat soft dodgers (awning style) or even hard dodger builder. Most fabricators will be located on saltwater coastlines and are small businesses. They use stainless tubing and canvas to build a shelter that must be fairly strong to withstand heavy wind and spray. Generally, they're collapsible and held in place by straps. They of course have windows so the crew can see forward.

From what I can see the OP hasn't posted here since 2016.

But to the topic at hand - I suppose if you put enough work into it you could turn a hammer into a screwdriver, but if a screwdriver is what you need, wouldn't it make more sense to just sell the hammer and buy a screwdriver instead?
