Some buddies and i decided to take a Saturday fun/adventure day and head out of san diego and hit up the local indian casino (Pechanga) and then hit a trailhead nearby to see some snow and hike to nearby palomar mountain observatory.
The gates were closed (probably due to the recent snow/rain) at the intersection of High Point and Oak Grove so we couldn't go any further. We decided to stop here and cook some good ol' mahi-mahi tacos and drink a beverage while enjoying the 4800 ft view all while throwing a few snowballs down the mountain.
