Home built trailer coupler...

Ive never built one of these but thought it looked kinda of fun. I still have to weld a doubler plate to the top and bottom of the square receiver hitch material. and thinking about doubling up the 1" grade 8 bolt where it is welded to 1" .250 wall molly for the pivot. I need your opinions on if you think its stout enough or if it needs more beef! Thanks in advance...

The tube rotates on the poly bushings and a moly sleeve insert. The through bolt is 1" grade 8. Zert fittings still need to be added.

I haven't tested it yet. I still have some odds and ends to iron out on the proto type trailer. I hope to get to that in the next month or so. My biggest set back is the tow rig at the present time.

I just copied a few of the other that I found here. And Im lucky to have a few cool tools that makes this stuff possible for me to build. I dont think da Vinci used other peoples ideas off the internet. LOL
