Home Depot - Charmglow Stainless Steel Grill

I got a $100 HD gift card and was looking at this unit the other day. Anybody have one that regretted buying it?

Before I bought our grill at Home Depot I did a Google search on the products and read as many review as I could. I was amazed at how bad some reviews were, especially how difficult it was to get spare parts from certain manufacturers.

When we went to Home Depot to look at the grills the difference between the quality and finish of different grills is stunning, and this difference is not always reflected in the price.

Charmglow is owned by Home Depot so you may have better luck with aftermarket service than with some of the other manufacturers.

One thing i've noticed with our stainless grill like the one your looking at, is that all of them are almost identical with different badging on it. There's like one company that makes them all. I found my exact grill, rebadged at Walmart for like $50 cheaper than what i bought it for

More than likely they are made by the same China manufactory. Company order the grill from China with there own badge and maybe some small spec change. It's all part of cost cutting.

I can't use a HD gift card at other stores and I realize it's probably made in China.

So anybody actually own one?
