Well the Honda/Rover JV is rather surprising considering the disparity in perceived brand quality. Like when Rover re badged Hondas and called them Sterlings or suchlike. Do perfectly reliable Land Rovers exist? Of course. The question is if this is the exception or the rule.... One must only look to the territories where Land Rover once owned the bulk of the market and see which manufacturer and model is prevalent. There must be a reason Land Rover has been annihilated in Australia and elsewhere where they used to reign (excepting the Mall/soccer mom/Chelsea tractor set). Knowing all this, I would put a 110 or a P38 in my garage in a heartbeat if I had the space or the money, and that is just fine by me! This lunacy will assure the continuance of the marque as long as they don't screw up the next Defender too badly.
