I removed the jack and tools from their original compartment and stow them in the drawer with my recovery gear. Yeah, it eats up some drawer space but it lets me have the top of the unit flush with the little ledge there.
I am building a box now and toyed with no access to the jack compartment. How do you access that compartment? Just wondering if there is some sort of trap door or can you lift it enough to gain access?
