My trailer now has new springs installed, brakes adjusted, wheel bearings repacked, and most importantly, a new QWIK awning installed.

I'm so ready for this trip.:wings:

I was asked today what the plan for Friday night is. What time are we heading out of Tucson.....before or after the govt. workers go home.

The plan . . . Tucson meet at 5:00pm, roll out by 5:15pm from the infamous TTT (exit #268 from I-10)

From there to the Dragoons. But I've got some information indicating that the route I want may be cut off by private property.

At this point I'm thinking head to Tombstone, then hop on Middlemarch Road and make camp near the pretty rocks 'n stuff. I'll post up a little map along with some coordinates to help visualize.

Hoping for 6:30-7:00.

Frankly, though, I can split and be in Tucson about 4:00 earning me some more time.

If others just have to make their way to camp later, I'll provide a map and all that. I kinda want a SPOT dealy. Perhaps if I had one by then I could post a specific location through that sucker...... hmmmmm

Mark, if'n you guys are going to head out early, I cool with that. Just give me the coordinates of the camp. We'll be in the TJ, so I'll have the GPS and 2M.

I'm guessing that the trails are more like roads, given the 5:15 departure and 6:30 arrival times.....it's all good. I just wanted to know ahead of time to make sure that dinner doesn't cut into beer/fire/tequila time. Yes, they occur in that order. I'll grab dinner before I leave.
