Mark,
Got some friends researching the private land areas a bit more. If they don't come up with anything, I might be able to swing up that way this friday or saturday.

Man, you guys got some really cool maps. I'm going to have to get NG now. lol

I don't have any of those cool maps and coordinates don't do me much good. I'll follow Brad :smiley_drive: Only CB in my rig.

Well, so far it's only you and I as the earlybirds on Friday for a breakfast start.

Any other takers or is everyone else going to roll into camp as Alvin and I are sippin on one with our feet up?

I suspect you'll be way past number one before the rest of us arrive:beer:

Minor Campsite Location Shift

Mark did some research and found the following website that shows some nice dispersed camping up in the rocks that looks great.

http://www.eugenecarsey.com/camp/cochisestronghold/cochise_west.htm

We decided to shift our friday night campsite just little North to enjoy this documented area. Here are a couple maps showing the new Rock Camp is just North of our original Hi Camp choice.

It's going to be a sweet place. Plug this into Google Maps and or Google Earth and take a look around: 31.869813,-110.017819 (that's the campsite on Brad's maps)

Right next to the rocks, looks like plenty of space for you trailer towers.

FWIW...Be sure to get some folks up there early Friday to secure spots for your group.
It's a somewhat popular area. It fills fast on the weekends.

Alvin and I are heading there Friday morning. Google shows two loop roads close the each other with camping along both of them. We'll grab whichever site looks the most appealing for our size group.

Thanks for the tip Ed.

if anyone else is planning on coming out early friday, Brad and I will be at Eclectic Cafe at 9am Friday for breakfast. The cafe is on the northwest corner of Sabino Canyon road and Tanque Verde road in Tucson. Look for an 80 series Landcruiser w/trailer and a 4Runner w/trailer.

After a tasty breakfast we'll hit the road. :wavey:
