Hot Water at altitude

FWIW - My friend has this Camplux:

I just noticed on Amazon that it's only rated to 2000ft but he's used it all over Colorado (and a good chunk of the west) and has never had an issue. We were camped at 4500ft last weekend and it provided nice hot water without a problem.
