In my experience, tents are always under sized. Meaning if they say it's a 2 man, plan on being really cozy with your tent mate. So with that in mind I always shoot for bigger than the planned amount of people.
I have a Sierra Designs Clip Flashlight thats supposed to be a 2man. NO WAY> Thats my solo backpacking tent. 4lbs set up in about 5 min.
I have a Sierra designs Comet CD which is supposed to be 2-3 man 3-4 season tent. Well it will fit 2 men with no room to spare. 6-1/2lbs set up in about 10min
I have a REI Taj 3 that we use as a car camping tent for the family. It hold the 3 of us comfortbly. 8lbs set up in about 10 min
And now we have the Eezi-Awn 1800 on our trailer. It fits the family comfortably and set up is less than 5 min. 147lbs
Brads tent setup is AWESOME. I've only seen pics, but I'm jealous. I've heard, though, that it takes him some time to really set it up.
