Sorry for the delay in getting back to the thread. I have heard about sanding the lens, but how long does that last before you have to do it again? If I can get a year or more before I need to do it again, it would be worth it.

I used to have a small headlight retrofit company and we did headlight restorations all the time. The 3M kit was by far the most superior kit. As Vicali said though, once you restore you will have to repeat as your effectively skimming off the UV layer on the surface of the lens during the restore process. We used to spray a layer of quality clearcoat on the lenses afterwords (this can be risky if you don't get it perfect) to protect them. Other option is to just buy new TYC lights which are actually quite cheap or look for a used OEM set in good condition on Tacomaworld.
