holy cow, that's massive!!! How far to the left do you need to be for the brake light/blinker to be visible? If it's hardly visible maybe consider an additional blinker/brake light.

What size hole is the tow point? Does it accept a 7/8" pin?

Its a standard 2" receiver that accepts the standard pin (I guess thats 7/8"?) inside the receiver.

I can punch the tire hard and it will wiggle a bit but nothing rattles or clanks anywhere.

This thing is awesome. I love seeing that XML up there. Great news on the wiggle factor as well.

Could you do me a favor and measure the height of the spare tire arm? From on top of the swing out to the bottom of the angled piece you welded on? The vertical piece holding the tire up. It looks like the height is about perfect and It would save me a lot of trial and error on mine. My other question is the height of the gusset on the bottom of that same piece. Did you or would you make these thicker/stronger. By looking at the picture, they are as tall as they can be.

Again, very nice.

I'll get some measurements in a bit.

I'm probably going to end up getting some more square tube and turning the tire swingout into a triangle instead of just a gussetted "T".

While back and forth and side to side movement is very minimal while the truck is on flat ground, I'm not sure how much weight and everything will be effected once I have the truck at crazy angles on a trail somewhere.

I can't believe you lifted that tire up there. I don't know what a guy would do if it was just me. I busted a nut getting my 9.00R16 up there. Granted it's on a heavy split rim but WOW!!

not to high jack, but what do you think? I agree. I am going to add a piece of tube back to the spindle end. It's not done but getting closer. Do you know, is the 80 narrower then the 60?

Looks good.

Are you doing a dual swingout, or 1 long one?

I'd recommend duals, because the shorter the arms, the less stress you are going to be putting on the spindles and bearings and whatnot.

I'd also recommend adding a bit of an incline from the sprindle to the end of the arm.

That way if when fully loaded you get any sag on the arm it would compensate for that.

I took it offroading on a hardcore trail yesterday....it wiggles as expected, but nothing scary and no contact anywhere or clanking or anything to be worried about.

Yup, duals. You can see the other arm in the first picture, I just don't have the spindle on yet. Good idea about the incline to compensate for the weight. I am basically steeling Lukes and Cristos design and modding it a bit. Using square tube for the fuel cans and dual verticle latches
