UPDATE

Ok so an update. I finally finished the lift on my jeep, thats a path I never want to go down again. So my first guess on the lift height was off like way off I had first thought that the rear was sitting around 7.5" but when I installed my 6.5" lift coils I was still 2" high in the rear and this was without my add a leaf. On the same day I installed the coils I installed the rough country drop brackets and RE bracket braces ( I didnt like how rough country attached their bracket braces with only 2 factory bolts to the drop bracket and 2 self tappers drilled into the frame.

here is some pics of the parts ive obtained in the last 2 weeks

Once I got all this done and noticed that it was still sitting ***** high. So Tuesday I loaded it up on a trailer and took it to Boise Spring Works again and talked to them about exactly what I wanted from the springs they came out and looked at the jeep. So I took it to a friends house pulled the springs for a 3rd time and took the springs back to them. They first told me they would be ready no later then thursday, that was no problem so I went home and later in the day I get a call saying the springs were ready for pick up. I call up my friend to see if he could pick them up as the spring place was closing in less then a hour, he picks them up and by the time I get to his house he has the springs hung and ready to bolt to the axle, we installed the springs and took it for a test drive. I am pleased to anounce that the jeep drives awsome very little vibes in the drive shaft but im still installing the SYE kit hopefully next week I will get some more updated pics tommorow after work. stayed tuned.

So I havent updated my thread in awhile, well no new updates as of yet im still waiting on my detours tailbone to be delivered, and i still need to get the jeep back into the shop to do the sye kit just been real busy with work. So a couple weeks ago I was talking to my wifes friends husband and I told him that if I had the money I was gonna swap out the 4.0l and drop a 4bt cummins he told me it was impossible and that the engine would just twist the body. So for the sake of argument I just rolled my eyes and said ok, but that wasnt the last of it I took his comment as a challange and I was talking to my friend and fellow jeeper bout this and he told me that he knows someone who has a bread truck w/ a 4bt that he wants gone. Well If he still has it and wants it gone ill be going and getting the truck. My plans is to find another cherokee cheap and pull the motor and tranny and it will be used to 100% mock up the engine and tranny. So thats the plans the jeep hope it all comes together.
