Here is a link to a 3000mile Army test of an M101 A2 trailer loaded with 1500lb payload. The test simulated everything from gravel roads at 25mph to cross country at 18 and 12mph and contains g-force data.
The test dates from 1991. The trailer passed with some sagging of the left leaf spring noted. But check the G-forces; for the cross country test your looking at -7 to +7. Max was +9g which seems a lot.
