Introducing the Van-That-Can- 2000 E350 V10 EB Passenger Van

Not much of an update, but I moved to St George, UT in January and have been using the van every weekend. I think I have driven more dirt miles in the last couple of months than the last couple of years. I can hit dirt 1 mile from my house and drive all over northwest AZ, and I haven't even started exploring Nevada yet. Today I took the kids south, over Mt. Trumbull, and down to Toroweap. It was our first time at the Grand Canyon, and yes it is as amazing as they say. The drop off at Toroweap is crazy, and my wife and I were both having heart attacks as our 11yo son was jumping around at the edge.

I'm not much of a photographer but here are a couple of gratuitous van pics.

Just noticed you seat mount setup. I'm dealing with some similar issues on my second row also. Not sure what to do.

Nice job on the seat mounts! I especially like that you retained the stock seat belts. I've got a similar setup with some Flexsteel captain's chairs I picked up off craigslist from a conversion van. I'm halfassed using the seatbelts that came with them. It works fine on the driver side, but the seatbelt mounts for the passenger side rear seat are too far back for the length of seatbelt on the chair. It's working fine as a lap belt so I've not done anything else with it yet.

I don't have a nice integrated fridge mount though. I used 2 of the factory threaded holes in the floor per seat, and had to drill 2 holes and use two people to tighten from the top and bottom simultaneously. For $150 I'm satisfied.

Any updates?[/QUOTE

I have done a few things, but mainly we have just been using it a lot. I built a new front bumper, and in the interior I replaced all of the seats with second row Honda Odyssey seats. I also just got new tires, 295 70 R18 Toyo R/Ts. They are a little bigger than my previous 285's, and I have been really happy with them so far, a good balance between good road manners and an aggressive tread.

I will try to take some pics of my bumper and seats and post them up.

I hate to do this, but I have decided to sell the van. I have a new truck ordered and don't have room for the van any more. Asking $24,000 OBO. Andrew 435-275-5095

This is a 2000 Ford E-350 with the 6.8l V-10, only 90,000 miles. 15 passenger version with a U-Joint 4-wheel drive conversion. Runs perfect, recently replaced all injectors, plugs, and coils as preventative maintenance. All fluids changed regularly. I am the second owner, it has spent its whole life in Southern California and Southern Utah.

4WD Conversion- U-Joint (http://www.ujointoffroad.com/) 4” 4WD kit with a Dana 60 front axle, custom National springs, NV271 transfer case, Yukon manual hubs, front King 2.5” reservoir shocks, rear Fox 2.0 shocks.

Body- Extended body 15-passenger van with rear A/C unit. Currently a 7-seater with leather bucket seats from a 2016 Honda Odyssey. The second row of seats is easily removable if you want extra room and has a 35l Engle fridge mounted between the seats (included). The rear section has a custom sleeping platform and storage areas, with tool drawers, water storage, and a Viair on-board air compressor (included). The entire interior has a Quiet Ride insulation kit which makes a huge difference in reducing road noise. Bushwacker fender flares, Door Talon, Bed Rug

Misc- Dual Optima Yellow Top batteries with Battery Saver, Kenwood touchscreen stereo and amp, Alpine speakers, rear-view camera, Kenwood 10M radio, custom front tube bumper and skid plate with 30” Rigid LED bar, N-Fab side steps, 17” Method wheels with 295/70R17 Toyo Open Country R/T tires with only 10,000 miles on them, class IV trailer hitch, Tekonsha P3 trailer brake controller, ScanGauge II, true HID headlight conversion, 2008+ center console.

This is a great van that has been all over Utah and Baja and is perfectly set up for camping, exploring, etc.
