I've been lurking for awhile and planned on posting more when my 2.5 was more off-road ready but I figured maybe someone would be interested in the iPad mount I came up with.
I got the idea off of someone's laptop mount that went under the center instrument binnacle(sorry I can't remember which build thread it was). What I ended up doing is taking a couple of pieces from a harbor freight interior panel prybar kit and gluing/screwing them together and then used a heat gun to bend them to fit. Then just painted them to match the interior. Here's a few more photos so you can see how it's put together
And how it's mounted
I've had it for almost two years and it's pretty sturdy, holds it tight over jumps and bumps
I use an otterbox defender case with it.
Keeps it in easy reach for navigation or listening to music/podcasts.
