I stumbled across this and thought it'd be better than running it through my FM, especially in large cities like Phx where most channels have background static.

Curious about this tho...and other products that are comparable.

I went with an Alpine head unit. Charges the iPod, lets me control it from the head, and the head itself is simply better. Similar "adaptors" were running above $100 when I was in the market, so $200 for a good replacement head was a more wise investment.

...still, I wish that video was around when I was pulling the fascia.

For anyone with an interrest in MP3 integration, ANY hardwired solution is better than a transmitter. There are a number of other options from many makers willing to take your $$. Check out customtacos.com, MP3car.com and crutchfield.com in addition to searching google and all your normal resources.
