Sorry if that sounds rude, but the seemingly serious responses here to this scam kinda makes me worry for you.

So, listen please, to help you guys try to better understand......I responded to a (scam) ad for a different vehicle a month ago and got THE VERY SAME B.S response as the one posted above....almost exactly word for word....from the "transferred air man." These scammers are obviously working from the same scripts and using the ones that must have proven effective to gullible buyers.

And the fact this ad has been posted all over the USA still doesn't make you suspicious?

The closest to that name on the global address list for DoD is an Army Captain shown stationed in VA area. Or you have a Navy CAPT in VA area. I do believe you got a fake email.

The fact the seller is offering to have the government ship that wherever you wish on the GOV's dime... I don't know if USAF officers get a "good buddy" discount, but that would not happen for me (Army NCO)!

Not to mention it would be ILLEGAL to use a military aircraft to ship a POV for personal use. Paging captain obvious, paging captain obvious....anyone there??
