Gen 2.5s have notoriously leaky valve cover gaskets. By 100k they harden and are almost guaranteed to weep. Cam seals, front and rear, are also common leak points.

The intake needs to be removed for both a plug change and valve cover gasket change on a 2.5. Front cam seals require removing the timing belt and cam sprockets. Rear cam o-rings can be changed out on their own.

More of an inconvenience than a deal-breaker in my mind, and really just part of regular maintenance.

My front cam seal leaks quite a bit. Enough to foul the alternator over time. Sean, lets do a two for one day on those spark plugs :)
