You don't need heat now.. You will need a fan soon.

there is a little cold weather left, but its there for next year! got it installed tonight, works just as good as it did new in '82, damn thing is older than me.....

Funny how things made more than 10 years ago still work well today. Workmnaship and quality parts make the difference.

thoughts on this for a temp RTT rack. should be tall enough to walk under the tent but doesnt get it down low for driving or fitting in the garage :( but its cheap from amazon.

Shocks

I have just picked up a replica of your trailer. The guy I bought it from said he thought it was a 68-72ish year model Datsun 620. He made the trailer in 1991. I think it still has the original shocks :Wow1:

Did you replace the shocks or spring bushings when you reassembled? I'm also pulling the trailer with a 4Runner (3rd gen), so I'm looking to lift it a little bit for a more level ride.

yes i replaced the shocks with an OEM equivilent fron oriely, mine is a 72 as far as i can tell. the shocks are weird, the stud is on the bottom and eyelet on the top. they had them though. if its like mine with the tail light under the tail gate it should be a 520 i think.....

anyway ive been using it every week end just about for some thing or the other its been great. has been doubling as a boat trailer too!
