hahahahaha... Yes that is one regret I have on my round fenders. I should have gone flat for beverage counter action.
:ylsmoke:

Yeah the built in counter was a big deal for me and that they match the flat fenders i have on my jeep

I also like the flat fender look of the trailer as it matches the flat flender flares of the tow rig

I think I just put the exact same fenders on my trailer.. We had to get a bit creative to get them the flare out a enough to fit over the tires and keep a good space between the tire and the fender.. I think they were like $25 each..

The down size is they are a bit narrow.. It wouldn't be to difficult to buy another set of the fenders, split both sets open and weld 'em together.. Add about 3 more inches and it'd all be good..

As far as the axle.. When ya get ready to replace or rebuild.. These folks can't be beat IMHO.. I just had one custom made up for under $200 shipped.. 3500lb, 6x5.5 hubs, 47" to spring centers, 69" hub face to hub face, ez-lube bearing caps, springs, hangers, u-bolts, etc.. Ordered on a Thursday AM and it was delivered Tuesday afternoon.

If I may interject.. you obviously have some mad skills with the welder and I think you are over looking the fact that you can build your own custom fenders to match the look of your JK and cover the wheels as well as provide a nice counter top which will be wider than the fenders you have, I don't have half the skills you have and I went through the same issue with aesthetics .. I'm working on my fenders as we speak so I wanted jump in and offer an idea. Also a wider track will make the trailer more stable..

Thanks for the compliment.

I will take some pictures of the complete trailer in and out and post a trailer build thread.
I bought the basic body all set up from offroadtrailerz.com with axle and brakes and did the rest of the mods myself. I basically learned how to weld with this trailer.. I'm still not good, my welds aren't pretty but they hold.

I will eventually build a complete trailer when I have some more money and time. There are some things I wish where different about the basic structure. All in all I'm pleased with it but I'm looking to sell it very soon.

Seeing your trailer build gave me some ideas for the structure. I would like to have the receiver go from front to rear so that I may tow the trailer backwards if necessary. Which I can do now however the multi axis hitch isn't long enough, which I will sorted out this weekend. Storage boxes on top of the fenders like AT Horizon would be nice.
For now it will suffice however, I see a Sportsmobile in my near future.
