Juicer Recommendations

our vitamix we make powder sugar when we ran out :)
use it for smoothies all the time
use it for grains making flours etc..
use it for making our own sauces pizza or pasta etc.. way better than prego stuff :)
awesome soups have this recipe I tweaked a lot from the stock for torilla soup and then put over rice :)


one of my favs not a healthy loaded with natural sugars :)
orange juice concentrate about half a can and frozen banana and 1/4 frozen pineapple cubes and coconut milk ( which I make with the vitamix) and some ice if needed make about two HUGE drinks with it but man is it good !!!
throw some capt jerry spice rum and malibu and its boozey good

It depends on what types of fruit and veggies you'll be juicing. Masticating juicers like the Omega and Champion are better for leafy, dry veggies like kale, chard, etc. It wrings the moisture out of them. They are also very quiet. The centrifugal juicers are better at the fruits and veggies that are more wet and gloppy to begin with like cucumbers, citrus. They are loud and people claim that they get too hot which kills some of the nutrients.

I have an Omega and I use it two to three times per week. The other benefit of a masticating juicer is that they usually come with attachments to make pasta, etc. Mine has a mincing end that works like a charm to make a sort of blueberry ice cream. Just mince frozen fruit and you get a sorbet like dessert.
