Thank you so much for posting this. I use to spend a lot of time fishing the LLano around Kingsland when I was in school. I almost died at the Sunrise Beach airport (2KL). Beautiful part of the country, I miss it a lot.

didn't see it on your list, but that trail where you have the tire all tweaked out is called North Peak. i ran it on sunday before heading out, but skipped the giant hole since the g/f was already freaking out coming down some of the hills on North Pole

Great pics, was no doubt a hell of a time. Even as humid as it was, the rooftop tent is actually popped open outside right now so that it can dry because of all the condensation Saturday night. :sombrero:

So The_Mrs. and I had a hitchhiker... one of those big mean katydids (sp?). He lives in our yard now with "Frenchie" the Bullfrog. They pretty much ignore each other and try not to get eaten by the dogs.


Good to met some new folks and wheel some new trails. We were pressed for time sunday AM, but I'll make it back soon and wheel some more trails... Midnight run in particular... looked like a fun trail. I'll post up when we plan another trip... got the LC now, so I don't have to worry about getting to work on monday if I break my junk over the weekend.

BTW, stolenheron, when I said my truck has done some level 5 trails... I neglected to mention I used a set of bridging ladders and my winch heavily... actually made it through faster than the rock crawler that was behind me telling me I didn't belong on that trail...

I will post the few pics I took sometime this week. Nice park, cool folks, fun weekend.
