Very, very nice design. Looks stout. Need to see more closeups of the jerry can area though.

Edit: Hope you don't mind, I edited your post to display the image directly.

Looks a hundred times better than the ARB! I love it.:wings:

Are you comparing it to ARB's FJC bumper or their standard rear bars with swings? I've never seen the Kaymar FJC bar, nor have I seen an ARB FJC bar with swings (doesn't exist).

The pc was taken off the Man a Fre main page. THey say it is "coming soon" That definetly looks like Kaymar work to me. SO I would say that it will "exist" soon. I will have mike look into it and confirm but I doubt Man A Fre would have it on the main page if it wasn't actually going to be sold.

Im comparing it with the only ARB rear bumper i've ever seen for a the FJC. I standard plate bumper with no swingouts.

Yes its Kaymar.

What i find funny is that i heard months ago Kaymar wasn't interested in making a rear bumper for the FJC when ARB persued them to make one for them. They didn't feel that there was a big enough market to make a bumper for FJC in Australia. Now there is both brands. Weird.

My "doesn't exist" comment was based on the ARB FJC with swings... I have no doubt that that bumper is a Kaymar, and that it will be sold shortly. Not debating that ;)

Exactly :D... I guess my point was "apples and organges". Its hard to compare a non-swing bumper with one that is used completely different. I do like the Kaymar, though I have never been a fan of their latching system, in this case it even looks more prone to trail damage IMO.

News to me, I've never heard ARB using Kaymar for any of their bars. Doesn't makes sense as they already have a giant bumper facility as well as existing outsourced facilities.... but you could be right, interesting none the less. ARB had plans for a rear bumper several years ago... makes me even more skeptical to be honest. The part about Kaymar not being interested makes a bit of sense... the FJC bumper market is becoming very saturated IMO... especially front bumpers. With the exception of the TJ/JK platforms, I've never seen so many options so quickly!

Are those...LEDs...in the bumper? I thought at first they were some sort of logo or something, but they look like lights in a few photos.

Thats not exactly true, ARB used to sell kaymar through there brand store, and untill recently they did not make any rear bars in australia and sold Kaymar units, they even featured in there catalogue.

it would only be the last 2 years max iirc that they have had there own rear bars in aus and stoped using Kaymar.
