Here are a couple of pics of our, new to us,KK. Took it out last weekend for a Land Cruiser event and this weekend for some mountain biking. Thanks to Dutch who delivered it to us!

Some random thoughts...

We were looking for something a little larger than the Chaser as we have a dog that *needs* to be with us at night, and we have spent many days in really bad weather elk hunting in the high country where you end up spending a considerable amount of time in a tent. Sure is nice to have enough room to stretch out and move around.

Really well thought out and designed. The kitchen area gets big thumbs up. Plenty of room for meal prep and work.

Definately waterproof! Rained really hard last night...slept great high and dry.

Workmanship quality is outstanding. Everything is overbuilt and designed to withstand years of use and abuse.

Love having the large canopy to provide shade and get out of bad weather.

Looking forward to many years of use!

SWEET! :wings: Looks great. It will really make a great hunting base camp for you. Does your zip on porch roof have a stove jack adaptor in it? I don't know if I'll ever use mine but mine has the stove jack for a wood burning stove which would be cool (or warm actualy) for winter camping.

Does yours have a 12V fridge/freezer built in?

I also like the stove in the kitchen because it has broiler which realy expands your meal options. We even made cheese crisps on our last trip. :chowtime:

Keep the pictures coming on your future trips. Congratulations on the new toy.:jumping: :jumping:

Thanks for the comments!

No built in fridge...I have an Engel mounted in the back of the FJ.

We are planning a trip to Maine and Vermont in August so we are working on getting everything set up ahead of time.

OK, you better plan on taking your camera and taking tons of pics! Have a good trip and post up when you get back. :)

Merle,

Do you also have all the side canvas to enclose the porch area? If not, you can still purchase that as an add on from King Kamper as long as your porch has the velcro on the inside edge of the outside canvas lip. The sides just velcro on when you need them.

We do hae all of the canvas. I don't see me using it much unless we are in really bad weather and camped for an extended period.

Yep, I agree. Way too much work unless the weather demands it and you are staying long enough to justify it. Like maybe Elk camp:elkgrin:

Excellent! The Ellsworth is my SO's bike. I have been riding the Moots 29er and a Niner SS 29er.
