I prefer the classic looks of the second one, and I am also a fan of a half-serration. Are you looking for a daily carry or any specific task? Cutting boxes or bones more often?

On an aside, one thing I have found with all my black finish knives is that they never stay pretty for long.

i dont care about the finish, also for daily carry, and the pic should have half serrated. the one thing i'm debating is the aluminum handl and the stainless steel.

I won't buy another folding knife that I can't readily open with one hand. Looks like the first one has a thumb knob just for that reason.

Of the 2 you posted I like the first one more. It looks more solid. I have had a knife in my pocket everyday for the last 18 years and they have ranged from Kershaw, Buck, CRKT, Benchmade, Gerber, Schrade, Swiss Army, Browning, Colt, Smith and Wesson, Frost, SOG and Emerson.

I currently have this in my pocket and it is the only one that has lasted more then a year. So fars its the best knife IMHO. The only thing that sucks about it is I don't have a good reason to buy a new knife every year...

I've been partial to Kershaw ever since they came out with the D.W.O. Classic as I've been on Officer Ranch near Paulina, OR.

I've carried a "Navy Electrician's Knife" for 30 years. I'm about to wear out my third one. Eventually from repeated sharpenings the point comes out of the bolsters no matter how much I shave the stop.

I think I have one of these at home.

One of the magazines at work had a knife shootout and the Zero Tolerance 0200 series knife came out on top. You can get it in plain edge or serrated. Highly rated I guess. Looks like a nice knife.

I have a Benchmade auto opener that I've had for years so I haven't bought a ZT yet. Maybe next year with my uniform allowance... I spent mine this year on a Ruger LCP and a pair of Danner boots among other things! :ar15:

I like that one.
I carry a nice Gerber Recoil multitool knife for work, but I do not have a personal one yet to carry.

This one looks like it would fit the bill.
Not sure why my Recoil was discontinued, it is the best multitool I have owned yet.
Just bought it last year.
