I too am 6'5" and the lack of leg room was almost a deal breaker for me. It's easy to mod the driver's seat on a D2 to get more leg room though.

yep. an LWB would suit your height and your current requirements better than a D1 or a DII ...

Does it have a sunroof? A friend of mine is over 6 feet and has no issues with head room with his non-sunroof truck. Sunroof trucks he does have an issue with.

Watcha talkin 'bout Willis? Im also 6-1 and never had headroom issues in my 95 LWB. You have to drop the seat down into lowrider mode.

Well, at least try it out before buying. In a proper unright position, my hair (no 'fro) touches the headliner and I am 6'1". In a D90 I have about 6in and in a disco maybe 3in above my head.

hey guys I'm 6'0 even I still have a good amount of headspace in my D1

oh and the D1 gets my vote. However I do partly own a D2 and it is very smooth and with the CDL/ETC engaged it can be a formidable truck on the trail.:victory:

The RRC seats do sit higher off the floor compared to Disco I's. The 87/88 RRC had lower seats. My 95 LWB was really tight on head room, but my Discos have never been a problem.
