Nice write up. Looks like a great time, and a lot of cool expedition gear and parts at the rally. I will be doing Tin cup next week.

This explains why there were so many Rovers running around Buena Vista last week. This was the first time I have ever seen a 110 in person. I really like them. We saw a couple NEW Rovers on our way to Pomeroy Lake. There is no way I would risk those low profile tires and those nice big wheels in that much rock.

Sending a big Thank You to Overland Journal for their sponsorship and support of the Solihull Society's national rally! We had a great turnout and were able to put on a good event because of the awesome support. :victory: Scott, it's always fun to see you, and I'm glad you had a good time. See you all next year!

Very cool.. I was bummed I could not go to this.. In my own backyard none the less. Great pics.. I will be at the next CO Rover Rally

It was great to see everyone, I just needed another three or four days of trails and it would have been perfect ;)

Can't wait for Moab 2010 :wings:

Cheers,

Funrover - you need to plan for the 2010 Rally in Moab. It's not that far away and you will not be disappointed. Mark

This was posted in the outhouse at Alpine Station, some genuine concern for the local wildlife! Almost as funny was that the outhouse had an official sign calling it "Thunder Station" -- The USFS has a healthy sense of humor!

Fury Friends, eh? I think the fury would be on both the part of the Forest Service and the "friends" if the lid was left up.
:hehe:

Great pics everyone - looks like it was an awesome event!
