Moved the spare mount up about a foot where it should be. It rides much better and I can use the hitch. Now carrying 2 spares is not a problem at all.
Also mounted my high lift jack.

Does the spare hit your high lift when you open the back door and limit how far you can open the door ?

Yes it does. The door stops just short of 90 degrees. After hanging the spare on it now I see why so many people dont carry them there. Just seems like too much weight on the door. Very similar to the same issue on newer jeeps. I think the answer is a swing away tire rack mounted on the rear crossmenber. I can add a gas can to it as well.

Second pic is with 700lbs of animal feed in the back. I think I need a 4th parabolic leaf in the rear.
